COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Dear Pier 80 Neighbor,

Goldenvoice is very excited to present the inaugural Portola Music Festival in this unique location. Portola is a two-day festival with special lineups each day. This event is scheduled on Saturday, September 24th 12:00PM – 11:00PM and Sunday, September 25th 12:00PM – 11:00PM. Please expect sporadic sound checks between Wednesday, September 21st and Friday September, 23rd throughout the day from 12:00PM – 10:00PM as well as on Saturday and Sunday sporadically between the hours of 9:00AM – 12:00PM. With the input from community stakeholders, we will monitor audio levels at strategic locations in and around the site.

We are committed to making this event a success for not only the patrons but the neighborhood and the city as a whole. Understanding that traffic congestion and sound are two factors that can cause neighborhood frustration, we have focused a significant amount of energy and resources in creating solutions. We are working with local transit authorities to develop a full traffic plan, more information and updates regarding transportation and traffic plans will be available on this page and updated as new developments are received.

COMMUNITY HOTLINE & CONTACT

We welcome feedback from the community as it helps us understand the positive and negative impacts, which allows us to continue doing what works and develop solutions for what doesn't. For your convenience, Goldenvoice has a Community Hotline number (510) 721-6555 for use on show days during these events. For all things non-community related such as ticketing or event specific inquiries, please email us at info.portola@goldenvoice.com.

TRAFFIC

To help alleviate vehicle congestion in your neighborhood, we strongly encourage patrons to take alternative means of transportation to the festival, including BART, private shuttles, scooter/bike sharing, or walking.
