  • What time does the festival start and end?

    Venue doors will open at 12pm. Curfew will be 11pm.

  • Will you be posting set times in advance?

    Yes, set times can be found here and on the Portola app.

  • Can my ticket be scanned from my mobile device?

    You will be sent AXS Mobile ID tickets for the passes included with your order. All tickets are QR codes that will be sent out approximately 2 weeks before the event date through the AXS Mobile App.

  • I am no longer able to attend, can i get a refund?

    Sorry, no refunds.

  • Can I bring my camera?

    A phone camera, small point and shoot without interchangeable lenses or GoPro (no poles/extender) are fine to bring in. No video cameras or professional cameras will be allowed into the event.

  • Are Payment Plans Available?

    Yes - while supplies last! Check our Payment Plan section for more information.

  • Is the festival all ages?

    No. You must be 21 years or older on the day you plan to attend the event (either September 24, 2022 or September 25, 2022) to attend the event. A valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Expired ID will not be accepted for entry. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entry into the festival even if accompanied by an individual 21 years of age or older.

  • Will there be Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free food options?

    Please check back closer to event dates for information.

  • Can I volunteer or are you hiring?

  • Do you have a Lost & Found?

    Yes! Check items online anytime on our Lost & Found page.

  • Where is rideshare drop off/pick up point?

    The rideshare drop-off and pick-up zone is located on Cesar Chavez St. between Indiana St. and Tennessee St. This zone is a short walk away from the venue.

  • Will there be water refill stations?

    Yes, water refill stations will be available on site. Remember to bring an empty, reusable water bottle or cup with you! Metal water bottles will not be allowed.

  • How will Covid-19 affect this event?

  • Will there be parking available?

    South Lot / Cow Palace Parking: 2600 Geneva Ave, Daly City, CA 94014
    *There is no parking available at Pier 80. Do not drive to Pier 80.

    Extremely limited Portola parking is only available at the South Lot of Cow Palace in Daly City for a small fee (while supplies last). Parking lot opens at 11am each show day.

  • How do I get my tickets?

    How to receive/view tickets:

    1. Download the AXS mobile app
    2. Sign-in with the same email address used to purchase tickets or to accept transferred tickets.
    3. Tap the ticket icon at the bottom
    4. Tap "Portola"
  • Will there be lockers?

    Yes - purchase a locker in advance here.

  • Can I bring my bike? Wil there be bike parking?

    Yes, please check our Get Here & Get Out page for more information on bike parking.

  • My address has changed, will this affect my ticket delivery?

    Your shipping address will not affect your mobile ticket delivery.

  • How can I transfer my tickets?

    For those of you that would like to transfer your tickets to a friend, you can use the ticket transfer feature inside AXS Mobile App.

    1. Download the AXS mobile app, then sign in
    2. Tap the ticket icon at the bottom
    3. Tap "Portola"
    4. Tap "Transfer"
    5. Enter recipient’s first/last name + email address
    6. Tap "Continue"
    7. Review the information and tap "transfer"
    8. The recipient will receive an email with a link to click to get their tickets and, if they haven’t already, to download the AXS App and view tickets.

    A few things to remember:

    • The recipient you’re transferring to will need the AXS app to use the tickets.

  • Will there be any Covid-19 restrictions or testing requirements?

    It’s too early to tell exactly what precautions will be in place at the festival. However, your health and safety remain our top priority, and we continue to monitor the evolving health regulations and are working closely with state and health officials to develop COVID-19 protocols for the festival. We will follow all COVID-19 related mandates applicable to the festival and will provide more information as the festival approaches so you know what to expect.

  • Can I bring a sign or guidepost sign?

    No type of sign is allowed. This includes all handheld signs or signs and items attached to poles or pool noodles or apparatus used to display anything above the head. All instances will be subject to surrender and not returned.

  • What about bringing my medical prescriptions (asthma, insulin, etc.)?

    Before entering the event, please make sure all of the medications are properly labeled with name, phone number, and emergency contact. Names on prescriptions must match the person's ID. Notify a security guard at the entrance and the medical staff on site will assist you with storing your medications.

  • How will this affect the community/surrounding area?
